Lagoon Clean Up
Click Here and see the results. This clean up was a great success.
The neighborhood spirit was awesome. Thank you to everyone that participated. Let's see if we can plan another clean up soon. I've heard
talk of possibly incorporating a BBQ and cook out when we do the next
clean up. I think that would be awesome. Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was watching the news this morning and saw a story about a man trying to
abduct a fourteen year old girl inside the Whitemarsh Island Walmart. I contacted
WJCL the Coastal Source and hopefully they can send me a link to that story. If you didn't see it on TV hopefully you can view it here.
I talked to Sandy and Jan and they gave me a link to a great news story about Battery Point. You can view it at

I found it very interesting I think you will too.
One last thing My neighbor Nana asked me to look at her blog. My wife liked it so much she thought I should post it on the site. You can view it at

Welcome to the new Battery Point Residents Association website. Please excuse the pop ups and adds. This is the price we pay for free web space. Check out the links above and feel free to contact us with any input you may have.
The Battery Point Residents Association is an all volunteer non profit organization. The City of Savannah is not responsible for taking care of our common areas and lagoons. We have to take care of it ourselves through volunteers and donations. If you would like to be a member, become a volunteer or make a donation please contact us.

We had a great turn out for the first Battery Point block party. Check out the story and pictures on the news page. Hope this is just the first of many parties to come. Whoever brought the pasta salad I have your container if you would like it back. Send me an email and I will see that you get it. It was delicious!
